Υπήρξε πολλή συζήτηση πρόσφατα σχετικά με τη χρήση των πλήκτρων συντόμευσης στα Windows 8, κυρίως επειδή το 90% + των ανθρώπων που θα χρησιμοποιούν το νέο λειτουργικό σύστημα για τα επόμενα λίγα χρόνια δεν θα έχουν πρόσβαση σε μια οθόνη αφής.
